Dublin newcomer Altara has followed up his debut EP ‘The Lobby’ with thumping new single pleasedontleave, fusing his love for alt-pop and EDM together.

“Something I struggle with a lot is how much faster life can move than music.  After I put out my debut single, I already felt that creeping up on me, so I got straight back into the studio to work on how I was feeling..” explains Altara.

“I wrote and produced ‘pleasedontleave’ as intuitively as I could. The inspiration came from one particular moment; I vividly remember having an argument & being asked what happens next, and in that moment I said ‘I don’t know, but just please don’t leave. I don’t know why but it really stuck with me. I don’t like to think of myself in that place.”
