The INEC in Killarney has been building its reputation as a live music venue over the last two years and now are clearly feeling strong in their own skin as they begin to attempt to innovate themselves. Of course we know that services like VenueOne are coming into certain venues to give the option of streams but it’s rare to see a tech leap by the venue itself.
They will be pioneering it’s new method of showcasing the gigs that are on in the venue with the stream of the INEC Acoustic Club’s visit by Jack L. The stream will be going out exclusively to the INEC Facebook fans www.facebook.com/INECFANS.
There is no word yet if they plan to charge for the streams yet or not but you would imagine there would be some small charge for the pleasure of watching a gig live at home or on your phone as a consolation for not being able to make it to the venue.
The INEC hope to do this for all major concerts happening in the venue and to celebrate are offering 30 lucky people tickets to Jack L via the aforementioned Facebook page.
