Pops latest hottest ticket, One Direction were in town to a legion of screaming girls following their every move. Such is the life of these five young lads who just a year ago were stepping out of X Factor brimming with pop potential.
Tonight (Jan 24th 2012) they played a fully seated gig in The O2, Dublin where from what we hear, the seating was a rather useless implementation as nobody sat down once, as screaming and dancing took over. We hear Niall was reduced to tears at an emotional homecoming to The O2, awwww. He even did an Irish jig he was so happy.
We sent top photographer Sean Smyth down to get some snaps. He wasn’t allowed up the front incase he got in the way of the fans view but he did manage to get some nice shots.
