You gotta love Imelda May, she has taken what was a largely neglected genre, revamps it and in the most unlikely of circumstances has become a superstar by making it relevant for the current generation.
She played The Marquee in 2010 and was a huge hit, so it’s no surprise she has been snapped up to return again this year for a show at Live at the Marquee in Cork. The gig this year will take place on the 9th of June 2012.
