Following their recent sound advice not to put blackcurrant in Guinness, Dublin post-funk quartet SCUSTIN point out the hypocrisy of people who claim ‘I’m Never Flying With Ryanair Again’ only to buy seats in the summer sale on their excellent new single.

‘I’m Never Flying With Ryanair Again’ is taken from their upcoming debut album Confessions Of A Pub Talker which will be released on 19th September 2025.

Commenting on the track, the band say: “Lyrically, the song is a satirical deep-dive into the absurdity of blame culture. Channelling the tongue-in-cheek swagger of The Streets, Viagra Boys, and Kneecap, the story introduces a maddeningly self-unaware character who wreaks havoc through his airport routine. It’s a wry observation of a world where it’s easier to deflect responsibility than take it on the chin.”

Recorded and produced by Richie Kennedy (RIDE, Interpol, Shame) at Black Mountain Studios, forthcoming debut album Confessions Of A Pub Talker is a concept record that tells the story of Larry, a barman in his mid-to-late 20s struggling to find his way amidst the social and economic uncertainties of modern Irish life.

The quartet are set to open for Inhaler in St. Annes Park, Dublin alongside Gurriers & Blossoms on May 30th.
