IL DIVO have a greatest hits…. This seems wrong to me, I can still easily remember them powering onto the scene after G4 stole the limelight on the 2004 version of X Factor.
Still on Syco records, they apparently have released seven albums and six live DVD’s in a prolific seven to eight years for the band. This new show in April, 2013 will see Il Divo perform with a full orchestra, their signature classical interpretations of popular songs across their whole career catalogue. ‘Il Divo Greatest Hits’ will be released as a standard 18 track CD and a 2 Disc Gift Edition.
The gig in Dublin will be in The O2 on Sunday 21st April 2013. Tickets for the show are priced at 49.65 inclusive of booking fee and will be on sale from this coming Friday 16th November at 9.30am.
Support has been confirmed as star violinist Vladmir. Vladimir released his much anticipated debut long player ‘Classical Twist: The Album’ in 2011.
