Following the successful release of the single ‘Anyway’ in November, Hex Hue (aka composer, producer and sound designer Katie Richardson) and Northern-Ireland Music Prize Nominated Avro Partyhave released a brand new music video for the track, directed by Ciara McMullan.

Filmed in the gardens of Larchfield Estate in Northern Ireland, the music video encapsulates the summery feel of the track, translating its hazy production seamlessly into an emotionally cathartic dance performance from Richardson and dancers Ryan O’Neil and Paula O’Reilly.

“I wanted to do something really freeing for the video,” Richardson explained of the inspiration behind the shoot. “The song is all about letting go and owning your confidence in yourself. I was lucky to get two of Ireland’s most successful dancers/choreographers to come on board. We had so much fun”.

‘Anyway’ is the second collaboration between Richardson and Arvo Party, following the latter’s remix of Richardson’s track ‘Numbers’. Hex Hue and Arvo Party performed the track for their Livestream ‘Into The Haze’ as part of Sound of Belfast in November, incorporating visual elements of the music video into the live production.
