Liverpool duo Her’s have dropped their debut album ‘Invitation to Her’s’ ahead of next month’s show in Whelan’s. The album sees has a shimmering 80s jangle pop vibe with swaggering bass harking back to the heyday of The Smiths

Audun Laading and Stephen Fitzpatrick from Norway and Barrow respectively may not be from Liverpool per se, but they are definitely fitting seamlessly into the city’s proud heritage of producing memorable melodies even if their brand melancholic euphoria is more normally associated with their Mancunian neighbours.
