I’ve been saying it for weeks, someone would just have to come along and snap her up and wham here it is, today in my inbox is a release letting me know that one of the most comprehensive websites for entertainment in Ireland would take the step to increase it’s music blog area from the already high quality work of Jenny Mulligan to add the stunningly talented work of Nay McArdle.

So the Harmless Noise blog will come to life again as a resident blog page on the Entertainment.ie

Harmless Noise made a name focusing on the local and independent music scene in Ireland. Founder Nay McArdle won over many people with a hands-on approach to music writing, searching out new acts, listening to everything available and getting to gigs, instead of just waiting for hype to do its job.  Nay is happy to be in a position to continue,

“I’m delighted to join entertainment.ie and think it’s the ideal platform to share the best music with a great audience that it deserves”.

Harmless Noise is also a great fit for entertainment.ie. According to Sheena McGinley, Senior Editor,

“We’ve long been fans of Harmless Noise and were upset when we heard it might close down.  We wanted to help out if we could.  It ticks all the right boxes for us; it is well written, has energy and integrity with an emphasis on local Irish talent.”
