Having cut their teeth playing bars, parks, festivals and anywhere in between, Letterkenny post-indie rock trio Happy Out have chiselled themselves into a force to be reckoned with. “We like feminism, repeal, positive mental health and LGBTI+ spaces. If you’re a Nazi we will attack you with vicious intent.” We believe this statement more than the one that claims they are managed by Eric Bischoff, but stranger things have happened…

January 17th 2020 is the date to keep in mind, when the trio release their debut EP, ‘Is, Was, Wasn’t’.

Known for their energetic explosions on stage, it’s not unusual to see instruments tossed aside and stages abandoned in favour of jumping into the crowd. The past two years have seen the band support the likes of Joe Talbot (Idles), Titus Andronicus, John, Life, and Touts, as well as playing slots at Swell Festival and Stendhal Festival.

You can catch the lads live when they play the following dates:

Nerve Centre, Derry on 17th Jan 2020
