Half Arsed Half Biscuit will perform the great Half Man Half Biscuit songbook at Dolans Kasbah in Limerick on Culture Night, Friday September 20th.

In case any of you weren’t aware, “Half Arsed Half Biscuit was born of nothing more than the love of the band, their wonderful songs and the desire to hear those songs live in Ireland.”

As official Culture Night events are free entry, the band is also doing an early evening walk-in set in the same venue at 7pm “featuring some HMHB favourites and some tunes you might be less likely to hear at a rowdy gig.”

As if that wasn’t enough, a Half Man Half Biscuit workshop will be happening up the road in Mary Immaculate College at 4pm where attendees will “learn a little about the band, learn a song or two and print their own Half Man Half Biscuit tee shirt as [Niall’s] 14 year old self did back in 1987. It’s gonna be great fun and you’re very welcome along of course.” You can reserve a spot at the workshop here.

Tickets for the main evening show at 9pm cost €14 and are available right here and remember, the 7pm show and afternoon workshop are FREE.

This is the band’s first gig in six years and this may well be it for another six years so you are advised to get in for this. National Shite Day it ain’t!

Meanwhile, here’s a video of Niall joining Half Man Half Biscuit themselves onstage at a recent gig in Newcastle-upon-Tyne…
