Ahead of the release of their debut album Come and See, (out 13 September 2024) Gurriers have shared fan-favourite track Top Of The Bill which has long been a lynchpin in their live shows. “It’s a distorted love story, a warning to myself of a person I could have been,” explains singer Dan Hoff of the pummelling track.

The accompanying video filmed in The Workman’s Cellar features a cast of familiar faces from the Dublin music scene including rapper and DJ Mango. “It’s a one shot film. I think the buzzword for the band was Twin Peaks as the lads are huge fans, but apart from that there are a few Shane Meadows tropes in there too, showing small vignettes of characters that populate the world of the bar,” explains director Adam Hart. “There’s a lot of moving parts in the video so I was worried we’d miss a character, or piece of action, or we’d spend all day and have 50 takes before we got what we wanted. I think we only shot 12 takes in total, which is a credit to the crew and actors who played a blinder.”

The group have a number of European festival slots this summer including End of The Road, before kicking off their European tour in support of the album from September onwards including a show in the Moth Club in London.

The group will then return home for a national tour, including their biggest Dublin headline show to date in Whelan’s on November 26th. Full details below. Come and See is available to pre order here
