Guns N Roses add Thin Lizzy as support

Yes what they are claiming to be the biggest rock party of the year (and after last time, the fans are probably due just that) has gotten just a little bit bigger with the announcement that joining Guns N Roses in The O2 in May will be none other than Irish rock legends Thin Lizzy.

GnR cite Thin Lizzy as one of their biggest musical influences and Axl even has a black rose tattoo. The lineup of Lizzy alumni which includes Scott Gorham, Brian Downey, Darren Wharton and recent additions Damon Johnson, Marco Mendoza and Ricky Warwick taking over on vocals, will be warming up the crowd with many Lizzy classics before Guns ‘N Roses take to the stage.
