Join GoldenPlec (& friends) for our annual big winter-warmer jam session!
Ditch the family arguments, the turkey sambos and the oversized pyjamas and round up your mates for a massive party in The Sugar Club on December 28. Groove along to a sweet mix of your favourite RnB, hip-hop, neo-soul, funk and jazz tunes, performed by some of Ireland’s slickest musicians. It’s the perfect excuse to head back into town for a knees-up without the hassle of wondering where to go or what to do.
You can join the Facebook event HERE!
Building on the success of our first JAM gig last Christmas, we’re back now, bigger and better than ever. The night will feature some of our favourite acts including:
- God Knows (Rusangano Family)
- Kean Kavanagh
- Melina Malone
- Caoimhe Barry (Wyvern Lingo)
- Max Zaska
- Members of Booka Brass
- Plus secret special guest
Tix €15 on the door. Make sure to grab tickets online beforehand because we sold out pretty early last year.
This aim of the gig is to raise funds to help GoldenPlec pay the bills (*shakes fist*) in order to fuel our promotion of the Irish music scene. Apart from having a class evening, the night will aim to keep the site plugging along in our quest to support Ireland’s excellent music scene by giving Irish acts a platform. Come along on the night to support the community and help keep it going.
House band: Max Zaska (guitar), Dyl Lynch (drums), Johnny Taylor (keys), Kev Higgins (bass), Oisín Murtagh (sax), Paul Kiernan (trumpet) plus more to be announced.
