Glen Hansard is set to play an intimate gig at Seamus Heaney HomePlace to launch its calendar of events for 2017. The Oscar winning songwriter is a well-known admirer of Heaney’s work and has often cited his influence upon his own work

Hansard will play The Helicon, in the recently opened Heaney centre in Bellaghy, Co. Derry on January 14th. With a capacity of only 190, this is a must-see gig for fans of Glen Hansard.
