After another mega event down on Worthy Farm, Glastonbury 2013 wrapped up with Mumford and Sons and The Rolling Stones both putting in energetic sets to huge crowds.
There is no sleep for the wicked though as the Glastonbury organisers have already opened up registration for 2014. Now if you’re a Glastonbury virgin the concept is simple, to avoid touting your ticket has your picture on it. To simplify the process they have everyone interested in attending register with a valid picture and details before the festival. Then when the tickets go on sale in October 2013 you will be registered and ready to go to apply for tickets (which disappear in a blink).
Glastonbury 2014 will take place from Wednesday 25th June to Sunday 29th June and already is being touted to be a sell out in record time. Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The odds of Glastonbury 2014 selling out in record time tumbled as the Stones left the stage. Even without Jagger there next year anyone who missed out this time round will make sure they won’t make the same mistake twice.”
Glastonbury to sell out in record time is Evens over on Ladbrokes while 2017 being the last ever Glastonbury down at 6/1 and 2020 at 6/4. Will Glastonbury wrap up this century or rock on well into the 21st century.
