Alan Duggan Borges the axe-wielding white noise machine behind Gilla Band wall of sound has introduced his new venture The Null Club with debut single Slip Angle featuring Valentine Caulfield of Mandy, Indiana. Slip Angle is the prelude to the venture’s eponymous debut EP which also features guest vocals from Faris Badwan of The Horrors and ELUCID of Armand Hammer.

The EP which was created in Alan Duggan Borges’ home and rehearsal studio in Dublin with the musician playing and recording every instrument himself. Vocals were added later in NYC, London, and Manchester before the project was mixed by Gilla Band compatriot Daniel Fox and mastered by Irish noise rock luminary Jamie Hyland (M(h)aol).

To celebrate the release of the EP which lands on April 4th The Null Club will play a headline show at The Workman’s Club for 2nd May 2025. Tickets €18.00 are available from singularartists.ie
