Charity is the name of the game this week and we thought we’d get behind the awfully kind Kris Kristofferson who is playing a benefit gig in The Olympia Theatre, Dublin.
All the raised money goes to the I.S.P.C.C and tickets cost between €35 and €58 depending on seating. His other gigs cost this much anyway so why not see a legend AND help a charity at the same time.
Other gigs of note this week, LIARS are playing Whelans with Logikparty and Cap Pas Cap in support, Tickets costing €16 for that. Damo Suzuki plays Cyprus Avenue (€12) and Crawdaddy (€14) on the 11th and 12th respectively.
Sharon Shannon and her big band will be playing Bulmers Live at Leopardstown for €16.50 and Storyfold can be caught in Tower Records both on Thursday, The Excellent Cast of Cheers play Whelans on Friday as do Nouveau Noise who play Shebeen Chic, The Deans who play The Stables, Mullingar and John Shelley and the Creatures who will be in Tower Records, all on Friday.
