This week with I’ve been listening to a lot of albums to do with the Choice Music Prize. It’s a tough listen because the decisions are going to be tough. So it might have to fall under the term of research because she is one of Irelands brightest talents and is meant to be absolutely unbelievable live.
Imelda May takes her Mayhem show to Vicar Street with tickets costing €35. There are a few tickets left available from Ticketmaster.
Other gigs this week worth seeing include Joe Pug playing Whelans, Felix the Housecat plays in Tripod on Saturday, A Plastic Rose nad Axis of the Good Fight are in Mandela Hall on Thursday, C.W. Stoneking plays Cyprus Avenue on Friday for €12 and Jedward play the Royal Theatre and the INEC on Saturday and Sunday.
