Were not blessed with huge amounts of gigs this week so it means choosing a gig of the week was that bit easier (for once).
In the end it came down to one versus three. We were either going to go with Mike Got Spiked in the Workman’s Club or The Certain Three in The Workman’s Club ( well aren’t they having a good week for gigs )
We tipped our hat this week to The Certain Three as it provides you with not one, not two but three top Irish acts. Ambience Affair, We Cut Corners and Windings are all playing on the night. The show is on January 14th (Friday) and Tickets are only €10 and as such is our gig of the week.
As previously mentioned, Mike Got Spiked will play The Workman’s Club on Saturday for just €10 so great chance there to catch some new stuff from one of the most well-known Irish punk bands back from exploits in the US.
Gemma Hayes is down for Crawdaddy for €15-€20. X factor pop giants JLS will be in The Odyssey Arena on Wednesday and Thursday and fellow Xfactor star Alexandra Burke will play Belfast’s Waterfront on Sunday and Dublin’s Grand Canal Theatre on Monday. Tickets for Burke cost £27.50 – £30 in Belfast and €33.60 – €39.20 in Dublin.
