This week we think your best bet is a trip this friday to The Academy for Phantom First Friday. They have some top Irish acts this iteration with Swords based hotly tipped Cast of Cheers on the lineup with the great Yes Cadets and another two great upcoming bands Readers Wives and The Riptide Movement.
At €5 in after 10pm and FREE in before its certainly the most economical for quality.
Other than our hot tip for the week we think that Adrian Crowley gig in Whelan’s is worth a viewing to see the Choice Music Prize winner in action in an intimate venue. Jody has a Hit-list in The Academy Thursday should be a great nights entertainment, Ocean Colour Scene, Republic of Loose, Joe Echo, Aslan, Coronas and more play at The Olympia at the FM104 Charity gig. pretty good lineup there. Finally on Saturday i think Laura Marling is worth a peek.
