This week i was torn between Mumford and Sons and Ash playing with Republic of Loose, effectively i think Mumford and Sons got it because they are one of the hottest new bands around at the moment.
Unfortunately for both gigs getting tickets is next to impossible, Mumford and Son’s sold out, and Ash with Republic of Loose for 7 Up Free’s Paddy’s day gig is Invite only (Were giving away tickets HERE)
Mumford and Sons are playing The Academy on Thursday the 18th of March and promises to be a cracking gig for those lucky enough to have tickets.
Ash play with Republic of Loose in a Secret Venue (Andrews Lane Theatre is what were hearing) and its by Invite only, you have to either win tickets from 7up on ru7up4it.ie or enter the competition that were running. Either way, going to this will be luck of the draw.
Some also ran gigs this week are, Attention Bebe in the Button Factory tonight (Very good band, worth seeing), Paloma Faith Visits vicar street too, Smokie (Living next door to alice) are in The Olympia Theatre Wednesday. Brian Meakin Band bring their brand of blues-rock to JJ Smyths on Friday, MGMT appear on saturday, 50 cent bring his bullet wounds to The O2 on Sunday and Monday see’s Boyce Avenue (win tickets HERE)
