This week gig of the week was a toss up between KISS and Pavement. I decided to go with KISS on the basis that there were still tickets available for the show without having to beg someone to part with theirs.

KISS are playing in the O2 on Friday 7th May. KISS might not be everyone’s thing, it’s a little bit rock, it’s a little cheese, but its a show that has been getting rave reviews since the 1980’s. These lads can put on one hell of a show. I have no doubt anyone who buys a ticket will find little remorse in the purchase post show.

Pavement however play tonight in Tripod with the brilliant Villagers who have been going from strength to strength lately, it took an appearance on jools holland for others to take notice. i think i remember a similar thing happening with an act called little boots who went on get some rave reviews and tour the world in the last year. Hopefully something similar will happen for Villagers. Tickets are sold out for this one, we reccomend trying Toutless if you really want to go.

Lots of other decent gigs including Heathers supporting Nerina Pallot, Nik Kershaw in the Academy, The Shooes, Zombie Cops and much more. Check the listings below for something that might tickle your fancy.
