This week we’re heading in to the West for Gig of the Week, and there’s not a sign of Tayto about. The ever complimentary duo of James Vincent McMorrow and Lisa Hannigan are teaming up for a gig in the Galway Arts Festival. Taking place on Thursday, tickets are still available and are €33.50. If you hadn’t noticed, her Madgesty is in town tonight. Madonna is here with the controversially titled MDNA for one night only. The undisputed “queen of pop” is expected to hit the stage in The Aviva Stadium at 9pm. Tickets are still available and range from €54.65 – €141.00. On Thursday The Minutes are taking the reigns at Live at Leopardstown. Tickets are only €15 and will meet all your horse racing and live music needs.
Over in Dún Laoghaire at Pavilion Theatre, American folk artist Sam Amidon is playing on Thurday, tickets €16. Support from Lisa O’Neill. David Kitt will be stepping back in time as he will be performing his debut album Small Moments in its entirety on Friday, tickets €17. Delorentos are set to finish the weekend off with one of their legendary acoustic performances on Saturday, You can nab a ticket for €16. Support from Luke Slott.
