This week we have plumped for a big one, mostly because you don’t see these guys over here very often and its sure to be an absolute stampede of a gig.
Iron Maiden are one of those heavy metal bands that garnered a following among even the least heavy metal lovers, they have a range of songs that seem to appeal to all types and i count myself as one who would not be a big metal fan but have a soft spot for Iron Maiden. Of course compared with some metal these days they are more borderline Rock/Metal.
The gig is €59.80 and is sure to be a cracker, The new O2 for these types of gigs lets bands do all kinds of fun and insane stuff as seen when KISS came to Dublin.
Other gigs this week include, Jakob Dylan in Crawdaddy, Family Force 5 in The Academy 2, Bonnie “Prince” Billy in Whelans Wednesday and Thursday. Ham Sandwich playing with Le Galaxie and Crayonsmith in Captain America’s Blanchardstown. Rod Stewart in The O2 and 2 Many DJ’s in The Olympia.
