You have to feel sorry for anyone else with a gig this week, as the highlight of the year for some people has come around again.
Electric Picnic 2009 starts on Friday in Stradbally, Co. Laois, with a lineup featuring some of the hottest acts in music this year. Highlights of this years festival include Fleet Foxes, Florence and the Machine, Passion Pit and The Flaming Lips, but the festival is about more than music, with all aspects of the Irish cultural spectrum being celebrated.
