acdcIt was bound to happen at some stage but I didn’t think it would so soon!, AC/DC our the first band to hold our coveted Gig of the Week selection twice, I’ve contacted the guys to break the news to them but I am yet to hear back, but they are undoubtedly chuffed.

The rock legends pleased the thousands of fans who missed out on tickets to their O2 date by announcing they would be playing Punchestown, and lets face it, its their natural enviorment. Big open space and tens of thousands of fans, this should be a night remember from one of the biggest bands in the world. News of Thin Lizzy pulling out of the gig though has taken the gloss off it slightly but I think hearing Highway to Hell on a summers night with the amps turned up to 11 should make up for that. whopper gig.

Tickets are still available and start from €76.50
