Glen Hansard is packing them in lately, between Frames gigs and The Commitments he must be really get bit by the live performance bug again. Today they announce that The Frames will follow up playing the For The Birds in it’s entirety with a show in Vicar Street that isn’t specifically limited to that one album.
The gig in Vicar Street for the “For The Birds” anniversary was from accounts online nearly four hours with multiple special guests and the audio was streamed through The Frames website. This proved extremely popular and such was the demand the stream continually died from overload.
Frames fans in Cork have The Marquee to look forward to but ahead of that they will play Dublin again with a show on the 9th of June in Vicar Street. Tickets are €30 inclusive of booking fee and go on sale Monday the 9th of May.
I pretty much expect another sellout so get your tickets nice and early
