Forbidden Fruit announce Fringe Parties

As if the weekend wasn’t exciting enough alreaady, The Forbidden Fruit weekend is building to be smothering Dublin with music this weekend. Venues including  The Button Factory, Twisted Pepper, Sin E, The Market Bar, Sweeneys and Pygmalion are all on board for the madness.

Friday 1st of June will see the previously mentioned Planningtorock making her Irish debut alongside Tieranniesaur and a DJ set from Kool Thing. That’s all on in The Button Factory with a FREE pint of Bulmers on entry. RSVP to dave@pod.ie with PANNINGTOROCK in the subject line for entry.

Saturday will have Twisted Pepper hosting a DJ set from Friendly Fires and Horse Meat Disco will follow that by playing some tunes. Doors at 11pm and entry is €10 with Forbidden Fruit ticket stub or €12 without. Also on Saturday is The Field who will be joined by Toby Kaar and DJ/VJ set from Arveene & Misk. That’s in The Button Factory and Doors are at 11pm and admission is €5 with FF ticket and €10 without.

Sunday will continue to wear your energy levels thin with The Button Factory hosting Modeselektor and The Rapture DJ sets, Doors at 11pm with admissions €10 with FF ticket and €20 without. Twisted Pepper have Ben Klock DJing along with DJ sets from Real Estate and Peaking Lights. Doors 11pm and admission €10 with FF ticket and €15 without. The Market Bar will host a comedy Fringe part on Sunday, MC Danny Dowling will preside over John Colleary, Kevin Gildea and a special guest. Doors at 11pm and entry €5.

Sin E with have a DJ set from our good friend The Cast of Cheers – Admission FREE – Sweeneys will host Cloud Nothings for a DJ set with Admission FREE and Phymalion will have Com Truise and Shit Robot both DJing with admission FREE. Finally if you have any energy left join the organisers in The Button Factory for an official wrap party with special guests and late night tunes. Entry FREE.
