For Those I Love aka David Balfe has shared another preview from his highly anticipated second album, “Carving The Stone”, set for release on August 8th via September Recordings.
Following “Of The Sorrows” and “No Scheme”, Balfe returns with the hard-hitting single “Mirror”; the politically pointed track is reminiscent of Irish punk poet Meryl Streek culminating in a refrain of “Cunts, Cunts Cunts”, Mirror showcases an angrier side of David Balfe than we have ever seen before.
The track was premiered by Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, and will interview David on his show on Friday, opines that Dublin, is ‘in bed with techno-feudalism,’ a theory which argues that we have undergone a transition to a post-capitalist world in which we are all digital serfs, enslaved by our new feudal overlords in Silicon Valley.
