First Fortnight, Ireland’s only mental health arts festival, have launched their festival programme for 2014. Running from January 2th – 11th, the festival looks to raise awareness and challenge the stigma attached to mental health problems with cultural events running countrywide. On the musical side, the festival has performances at The Workman’s club by the likes of Mark Geary and Laura Elizabeth Hughes and caps off the week with The Big Gig in The Button Factory featuring Heathers, Vann Music and Come on live long.
