Every week our photographers can be found running around the pits of Ireland’s venues. You might have seen some of the photos during the week but we thought we would take some of the best pictures we took this week and put them in a handy summary for you.
This is the quality live music you missed or caught this week. Which picture is your favourite.
Primal Scream at The Olympia

Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie being a real front man, properly into the music, full of passion and never stopping moving.

Usually musicians ignore the photographers running around infront of them, but Brett Anderson apparently though it would be far more fun to scream at them!

Delorentos at Vicar Street

Delorentos sold out Vicar Street on Friday night, our Frosty was lucky enough to get a AAA pass (it’s rare for photographers to get that level of access), this was what the venue looked like to the band.

Lloyd Cole at Vicar Street

One of the most difficult things to photograph is a solo singer song writer with just a guitar, but the concentration and passion of Lloyd Cole’s performance is captured perfectly in this.

Another image that just captures the concentration and passion, this time, of Jack Lukeman.

Tom Odell at The Olympia

Tom Odell, piano, smoke, moody lighting….made even better by just going with black and white. Completely atmospheric.
