I think the time has finally come for Fight Like Apes to return to the Irish gig scene. I haven’t had my arse squeezed by MayKay in ages.
10 Days in Dublin are aiming to raise €10,000 in donations in order to fund the costs of setting up the festival for this years event. Rather than just beg for money they have organised a gig in The Workman’s Club on Friday 15th February 2013 which feature to return of Fight Like Apes alongside support from Come On Live Long and Tujacques and Benny Smiles.
Doors are at 8pm and admission on the night is just €10. DJs will follow the acts.
With Fight Like Apes due to release a new album this year, it might be a first airing of some new songs.
