Fight Like Apes are back, proper back, new drummer, new album, new Irish dates, It’s all go for the Electro-pop foursome.

They have announce today a whole host of information. First of all, those hoping to see them in the Reading / Leeds festival will not be too happy as they have pulled out of their slot due to promotional commitments here in Ireland.

Previously known dates of Glasgowbury tomorrow July 24th, Le Cheile Festival on July 30th and Electric Picnic on September 5th are fine and going ahead and today they have added Cypruss Avenue, Cork on August 27th and Roisin Dubh, Galway on August 28th

Finally they have released details of their brand new album which will be entitled “The Body of Christ and the Legs of Tina Turner” which as album titles go is very Flapes. The album will be released on August 27th coinciding with the Cypruss Avenue gig and will be available for download, as CD or limited edition T-shirt and CD combo. This is their first work since Adrian Mullen (Drummer) left the band. The album will be released by Model Citizen records and produced by Andy Gill. (click the thumbnail to enlarge the artwork)
