It Takes A Village 2021 will return to Trabolgan this September 17th to 19th.

COVID POLICY

 

A Digital Covid Cert OR a Negative Antigen Test OR a Negative PCR Test will be required in order to attend the event and will be checked by staff on arrival at the gates.

All attendees, artists and crew will be required to adhere to current Covid requirements which are expected to include social distancing, face coverings and regular hand sanitising. As always, if you or anyone attending has any signs or symptoms prior to arrival to not attend and self isolate in line with the recommended guidelines.

We want to make this event as safe as possible for our attendees, artists, crew and Trabolgan staff. The best way to do this is to keep Covid out of the village!

If you do not have a Digital Covid Vaccine Certificate you will have to present a negative Antigen Test taken 48 hours before arrival or negative PCR Test taken 72 hours before arrival. A person who fails to present evidence of one of the three options above will not be admitted to the site

This event will be subject to any public health guidelines in place at the time of the event.

Bed linen, pillows and duvets are provided but you will need to bring a towel.
Q. Is there an age restriction for the festival?
A. Yes, the event is strictly over 21’s like every other year. ID will be checked by security on arrival.
 
Q. Can I just book a weekend ticket for myself?
A. No, you have to book a house for a group of 2 – 6 people.
Q. Do we have to book a house or can we book weekend tickets without a house?
A. No, you have to book a house for 2 – 6 people.
Q. How much do we have to pay at the time of booking?
A. Full payment for your group of 2 – 6 people is required at the time of booking.
Q. Will the swimming pool be open over the weekend?
A. It sure will!
Q. Is the beach accessible during the festival?
A. Yes, the beach is fully accessible and swimming is very good for you
Q. What else will be there apart from music & comedy?
A. We will have the Bosca Beatha mobile sauna down by the shore, a very cool art installation by Vicky Langan and most of the Trabolgan activities will be open too. Red Strand Coffee and other food trucks will be on site to keep you nourished throughout the weekend.
Q. Can we book for just 2 nights?
A. No, you have to book for all 3 nights.
Q. Are there any more 2 or 3 person houses being released?
A. No, these sold out very quickly and there are no more available.
Q. Do we need to be fully vaccinated to attend the festival?
A. No, but if you do not have a Digital Covid Vaccine Certificate then you will need to present a negative Antigen Test or a negative PCR test. Please see our Covid Policy page (link to Covid Policy page) for more information.
Q. Are there shops and ATM’s onsite.
A. Yes there is a fully stocked shop, off licence and ATM’s in the main plaza
Q. Can we leave the site during the festival?
A. If you are fully vaccinated and have your DCC then you may leave the site and return. If you do not have a DCC then once you leave you cannot return.
Q. What can we bring to the festival?
A. You can bring whatever you like to your house. The houses have full kitchen’s, fresh linen, showers, bathrooms, bath’s in some cases. Bring food, drink, blow up dolls and whatever other home comforts you’ll need for the weekend.
Q. What time do the gates open on Friday?
A. Gates and check in open at 4pm. If you arrive before this you will be asked to wait in your car until 4pm.

Registration for tickets at ittakesavillage.fm and tickets on sale to mailing list only at 12pm.

Early Bird tickets go on sale at 12pm on Wednesday 11th August – €189

Remaining tickets go on sale at 12pm on Thursday 12th August – €209

Tickets can be purchased in groups of 2 – 6.

The ticket price includes 3 nights accommodation in a self-catering house + weekend festival ticket + private parking.

All tickets must be paid for upfront. Due to the short lead-in time of the festival this year there is no option for payment in instalments.
