Festival Details

Following the success of the first It Takes A Village festival in Trabolgan Holiday Village, East Cork earlier this year, organisers have set out the dates for the highly anticipated second edition next year: Friday 10th to Sunday 12th May 2019.

It Takes A Village, presented by Ed O’Leary and Joe Kelly of The Good Room, proved itself to be the unique experience it promised to be, a contemporary music festival celebrating the very best of homegrown talent, set in the idyllic coastal surroundings of Trabolgan, East Cork. Changing the way people think about festivals in Ireland, the festival housed party revellers in 150 self-catering houses and apartments, plus 35 fully-serviced campervan sites.

One of the most special results of the festival was the community at It Takes A Village that was created through the house parties, pool parties, 5-a-side soccer tournaments, go-karting championships, and many other leisure activities.

With three main venues and pop up stages all over the 120 acre site at Trabolgan, we can expect the same big sounds, thrilling performances, exciting bands and DJ’s, wordsmiths and MC’s, art installations and the finest local food producers, early next year.

Organisers have hinted on social media that the 2019 line-up is imminent, and still 50% of tickets are already booked up having gone on sale to this year’s attendees and the festival mailing list. General sale early bird tickets for It Takes a Village, 10th -12th May 2019, are now on general sale from uticket.ie. There’s even a handy deposit system in place so you can reserve your spot today and pay later.
