GoldenPlec are delighted to present the brand new video single Plundered Past from Session Motts.

Session Motts are an enigmatic trio with an 80s-synth-pop sound but their music is far removed from the bubble gum songs of the era that trademarked the sound.

Plundered Past examines the unsolved murder of 18-year-old German backpacker Inga-Maria Hauser in Co. Antrim in 1988.

The subject matter is close to the band's hearts, especially singer Keeley Moss whose revered crime blog The Keeley Chronicles has investigated the case in great depth, gaining the support and praise of Hauser's family in the process.

The video for Plundered Past was shot in an area of Antrim nearby to where Inga-Marie's body was discovered.

Session Motts' music is constructed by experienced musician and producer Ingmar808 who has mixed records for Bob Marley and U2, and recorded Suede, Pulp, Julian Cope, and Sly and Robbie among others, for Island Records.

Session Motts was originally conceived as a studio project, but the response to their debut single Chip Shop Fights was so positive that the band have decided to bring their songs to live audiences this summer.
