Kildare quartet CPNHGN, return with In Motion, their first new music in over three years.
“It’s great to be back with new music,” says lead singer Conor Wilkins. ”We had such a great experience releasing our album Inhale/Exhale in 2014 and we are very excited about getting new music out after 3 years.”
In Motion was produced by James Darkin - whose production/engineering credits include Kanye West, Will.i.am, Eminem, Hozier, Gavin James and The Funeral Suits and remixes for Bantum, Katie Kim, and RSAG - in Herbert Place Studios Dublin and mastered by Steffen Mueller in Germany.
“I wanted to write a song about when I lived in Dublin 10 years ago,” Says Conor explaining the background and meaning of the track. “That turned into a song about taking a look at yourself a decade ago and realising you didn't have the world figured out, like you thought you did.”
Expect to hear more of CPNHGN in the very near future as the band are currently recording their second album and will be making their presence felt on the festival circuit this summer, beginning with an appearance at BARE In The Woods this June 9-11.
