Tonight's OSLO at The Workman's Club features Burner Records. Ahead of the show, which will feature live sets from FYNCH, Local Boy, Sick Nanley, Marcus Woods and Arbu, GoldenPlec caught up with Arbu, Sick Nanley and FYNCH for a quickfire question session to get to know them before the gig.

Sick Nanley

GP// What would be your dream supergroup?
James Brown, Beck, Mike D, Madlib, D Double E, Marcus Woods

GP// And your dream tour line up that you could be a part of?
The Up In Smoke tour.

GP // favourite to thing to do in your downtime?
Keep it real.
GP// What is one trend from the past you wish was still around?
Mullets.
GP// What's the best festival you’ve been to?
Body and Soul.

Fynch

GP// What job did you want to have as a kid?
When I was a youngfella, I was dead into cars. So, I always thought I'd end up being a rally driver. At 23, I can't even drive a car, never mind try to emulate Colin McRae.
GP// Most embarrassing song on your phone?

I'm very much of the opinion that musical guilty pleasures don't exist. That being said, I rinsed LFO's 'Summer Girls' throughout the summer, which isn't embarrassing, but it's hardly ideal.
GP// First and last albums you bought?
The first two albums I bought were Good Charlotte's The Young and the Hopeless and Avril Lavigne's Let Go from the Virgin Megastore in The Square. Big up the early 2000s pop-punk massive. The last album I bought physically was A Tribe Called Quest's We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service.
GP// First and last concert you went to?
The first concert I went to as a nipper was a Lenny Kravitz and Alanis Morissette dual-headliner in Marlay Park in 2008. You don't get that kind of bang for your buck anymore. Bar our own gigs, the last concert I paid cold cash for was Loyle Carner at The Grand Social, I think.
GP// top 3 essentials if you get stuck inside during another snowstorm?
Agent Cody Banks, Wotsits, Dutch Gold
GP// Morning people or night owls?
Night owls, for sure. We'll hang around any smoking area until the bitter bleedin' end.

ARBU

GP// Twitter or Instagram? or no social media at all?
I would like to say neither but I'm guilty of using both a lot, probably Instagram more so because people talk a lot of shite on Twitter (including myself)
GP// Favourite Irish venue?
Depends what kind of gig you're going to really, if it's more of laid back buzz then The Sugar Club is the spot, whopper sound and it's mad cosy. Workman's is good for intimate and energetic gigs. But my favourite would probably be Whelan's, just because so many class acts pass through their regularly
GP// Favourite Irish festival?
I think All Together Now is on the rise for that with the selection of acts they've chosen in the past, haven't got a chance to go to it yet but would love to buzz for sure -Knockanstockan is also another great one that pushes a lot of underrated artists to the forefront with their project so big respect to them.
GP// Your most unpopular opinion?
Dublin 22 is the most superior area code in Dublin straight up
GP// Favourite film quote?
Why you pursue something is as important as what you pursue. - Nightcrawler
