Well....actually he has a new track called Hidden Agenda and a brand spanking new video to go with it.

Aik J is known for his R&B sensibilities and his new track really showcases this. Following on from his first foray into pop with the superb single, Suite Life, his new track Hidden Agenda is a slow jam that really sees Aik J open up.

With lines like "No hidden agendas don't take me for them other mandems," he's clearly showing his sensitive side on this one.

With the release of his new track and video, we got a chance to catch up with the R&B singer to find out more about the single and what he has in store for the future.

In describing his new single he tells us, "I really wanted to bring old school R&B back, the way it was written and all that ... it was very simple but effective and it was done like a conversation instead of being so vulgar about things."

"I told a story...Hidden Agenda is the answer to the misconception of conversations I've experienced."

To him the song has a much bigger meaning. "I think it's good representation of good music and what I can do - with all the negativity everywhere, it's a nice way to share the love to everyone I guess."

When asked about what his music represents he clearly feels the need to spread a positive message. "That [negativity] has kind of always been a thing everywhere anyway...it's deep, but we just need to show some more love to each other."

It's clearly a busy time for Aik J, but he's already looking to the future. "At the moment I'm just writing and recording and getting ready for potential gigs. There might be another sound coming real soon...different - as usual - but still good music."

"But for now listen to Hidden Agenda and don't be greedy with it, share the love with everyone."
