Former Future Kings of Spain guitarist Karl Hussey and drummer Bryan McMahon have joined forces with ex-Bambi bassist Dan Barry to create Badself, an ’80s inspired rock act. Their debut single Stay Down is reminiscent of the likes of Journey and Survivor with a suitably retro video to accompany its release.

To help them achieve the classic AM rock sound Badself drafted in Def Leppard producer Ronan McHugh for their debut album ‘The Three Daughters of Mara’. The album was recorded several years ago and remained in the vaults until recently when it was given a soft release on Spotify.

Check out the brand new video for Stay Down which was recorded just prior to lockdown.
