Art Alexakis—best-known as the singer-guitarist and sole songwriter behind alt-rock outfit Everclear—will bring his debut his solo album ‘Sun Songs’ (Out via The End Records on October 11^th), to The Sound House following its release. 

According to Alexakis ‘Sun Songs’ finds the Everclear man in a plaintive mood. “For the most part, it’s an acoustic singer-songwriter type of album,” says Alexakis. “It’s not about making another Everclear record; it’s about doing something that’s just me. I’m pushing my ability and pushing the envelope and having fun at the same time. I’ve always wanted to do something like this.”

Everclear are best-known for their 998 Grammy nominated album ‘So Much For The Afterglow’ featuring the hit single Everyone To Everyone.
