Well it all starts here. Five acts, five hopefuls with their own song, mentored by an industry representative chosen by RTE. If it was me, I would be suggesting long hair, wind machine, key changes and explosions. It’s a simple game this Eurovision malarky isn’t it?
So Jedward are not going this year, rumoured to be discussing about potentially hosting it, or at very least might given Mooney a break from point allocation. So the acts for your consideration are below. One of these five will go forward to represent Ireland in the semi-final stages and hopefully progress to the final.

Niall Mooney chose Zoe Alexis Bohorquez for the song ‘Fire’
Mark McCabe chose Aimée Fitzpatrick for the song ‘Crashing Down’
Stuart O’ Connor chose Ryan Dolan for the song ‘Only ‘Love Survives’
The winning act will be selected on Eurosong 2013 on The Late Late Show on Friday February 22nd.
