To mark the 40th anniversary of the passing of legendary Thin Lizzy frontman, Philip Lynott, former Thin Lizzy members Eric Bell and Darren Wharton and friends are set to celebrate the life of Crumlin’s favourite son with a special tribute show in Dublin’s 3Arena in January.
Alongside Bell and Wharton the night will feature appearances from Ricky Warwick (The Black Star Riders / The Almighty / Thin Lizzy), Marco Mendoza (Dead Daisies / Whitesnake / Thin Lizzy), and Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses).
The RTÉ Concert Orchestra will perform timeless Thin Lizzy classics with symphonic twist and there will be a special appearance by Peter Smith, star of the hit musical Moonlight – The Phil Lynott Enigma.
The night will close with Thin Lizzy keyboardist Darren Wharton and his band Renegade will delivering Lizzy’s greatest hits, joined on by Eric Bell and other very special guests.
