The excitement has been building all week, Electric Picnic 2012 is the big one this year with it’s usual enemy in the July corner Oxegen taking a hiatus to catch up on some missed sleep. So the focus on Electric Picnic has been greater than ever before. This lineup will define a summer, the big blow out at the end of another wet and cold Irish summer.
So with that in mind what have we got in store for Electric Picnic 2012? Well here is all the tasty details. Down at Stradbally estate on August 31st to September 2nd, if you are lucky enough to be holding a ticket at that point you might catch the likes of The Cure, Orbital, Sigur Ros and loads more, full lineup below. Tickets are €230 for a weekend pass, Family camping costs €230 per adult and two U12 kids are free, Sunday passes are €99.50 and Campervan tickets are €60. Tickets on sale Friday 2nd March.
