Another jolt of electric acts for you today as the Electric Picnic 2011 festival announces that they will have a whole host of great acts added to the lineup.
Joining the existing lineup like Pulp and Arcade Fire are the Indie dance floor band who recently realised there was a PR campaign to be had in all the publicity the end of the world talk was having and are working on a new album and will be in Ireland for Electric Picnic. We are will get Warpaint who recently played Tripod, James Blake who will test the bass abilities of the speakers, the amazing James Vincent McMorrow amongst some of the additions.
We also will get Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Unthanks, John Grant, Gemma Hayes, Japanese Popstars, Lost Brothers and Funeral Suits as a whole host of awesome Irish acts join up.
Electric Picnic takes place on September 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2011. Tickets are on sale now for €240 for Weekend tickets, €240 per adult family camping and Sunday tickets are €99.50 (no camping allowed). Those who campervan can get a pass for €60.
