This weekend Elaine Mai will be shooting a video for her upcoming single release EDC and is looking for volunteers to take part. The video shoot will see Elaine collaborating for the second time with director Bob Gallagher who also created the video for her song Live from the ‘Dots’ EP.
Elaine and Bob will be encouraging people to come into the studio in pairs and give a short joint interview about their relationship. Why don’t we just let Bob explain it…
“It could be couples, close friends, or relatives, we’re just looking for people to talk about relationships that are important to them. We’re taking a documentary approach on this one and trying to incorporate an interesting range of people of all ages”.
“Basically we’re looking for you and someone you care about to come sit on a couch and talk to us for a few minutes about how well you know each other. For the people involved I think it will be a beautiful way of documenting those relationships at a point in time.”
The shoot will take place in Dublin city centre this weekend (28th/29th) and anyone interested in taking part can contact the crew by mailing “putmeinthevideo@gmail.com” to arrange a time.
