The inaugural Dún Laoghaire Folk Festival will take place at the Pavilion Theatre, Dún Laoghaire from August 30th to Sep 5th comprising of nine limited-capacity, socially distant events showcasing the wide array of talent in the modern folk field including Villagers, Christy Moore, The Mary Wallopers and John Francis Flynn.
The festival will also feature a special live recording of the Fire Draw Near podcast hosted by Ian Lynch of Lankum and live performance of Bob Gallagher’s Aiteach: From Cú Chulainn to the Quare Fellow. As well as It’ll All Come Out in the Wash – A storyboard with Ingrid Lyons & Lisa O’Neill and performances from Lemoncello, Junior Brother
