Following the release of last year’s ‘Sometime/Human/Geist’ EP, Brooklyn’s finest DIIV have announced that they will play their first ever Irish headline show in Dublin’s Vicar Street next March.

The quartet emerged from the New York DIY scene just over a decade ago with debut album ‘Oshin’ instantly establishing them as a band of note. Its 2016 follow-up ‘Is This Is Are’ brought international recognition with single ‘Under The Sun’ becoming indie rock radio staple. 2019’s ‘Deciever’ further cemented their cult status as one of the best guitar bands in the world.

Fans rejoiced last year as the group finally sanctioned the official release of ‘Live at The Murmrr Theatre’ – originally recorded in 2017 featuring covers of My Bloody Valentine and Alex G. Prior to their own live shows, the quartet are set to open for Depeche Mode in the US this winter.
