Details of the pilot scheme gig in the Iveagh Gardens which will see the return of live music to Ireland has been announce. The event featuring James Vincent McMorrow and Sorcha Richardson will see 500 lucky people attend the outdoor event which takes place on Thursday 10th June 7pm in association with the National Concert Hall.
“The first of many pilot events to take place outdoors this summer, the concert brings live music and culture back to Irish audiences in what is a much-anticipated event and one that marks a new dawn for the wider arts and culture industry.” says the National Concert Hall.
“We are very excited to welcome you back to live music. In order to keep artists, staff, crew and audiences safe, we ask that you adhere to current public health advice as well as familiarising yourself with the NCH guidelines for ticketholders outlined here.
Please do not attend the show if you are suffering with any symptoms of Covid-19, refunds will be available for ticketholders who are unable to attend for this reason.Any updates to these guidelines will be available on our website and on NCH social media platforms.”
Tickets €25 from nch.ie on sale tomorrow, Thursday 3rd June, 10am. The event is presented by the National Concert Hall, supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports & Media.
Advice to Ticketholders
1. This is an all-standing concert only. All tickets must be purchased in advance of the concert. Tickets can be purchased through www.nch.ie only and will not be available for purchase at the National Concert Hall or on the day at the Iveagh Gardens venue.
2. Tickets must be pre-printed at home or can be presented on a mobile device for admission. Ticket collection will not be available on the day.
3. A contact name and number will be required from all ticket holders to assist with contact tracing in the event of a confirmed case of Covid-19. This will be collected at the time of purchasing your ticket. Prior to gaining admittance to the venue these details will be checked and confirmed.
4. Once purchased, tickets are non-transferable.
5. PCR/Antigen Testing is not a requirement for this event so if you or any member of your party have had symptoms of COVID-19 14 days prior to the event we would ask that you do not attend, please contact the Box Office team on info@nch.ie who will assist you further.
6. If you are in an “At Risk” category we strongly advise that you seek and follow any medical advice before attending.
7. Socially distanced queuing systems are in place for services and facilities on site, we ask that you follow all directional and instructional signage in place.
8. You will be asked to queue in a socially distanced manner until you are brought to your pod within the standing area by an NCH staff member. Each pod is exclusive to the group in each booking – to a maximum of 4 people. All ticketholders will be required to follow current safe-distancing guidelines of 2 metres as set out by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET)
9. Patrons are requested to wear masks at all times other than when they are in their pods.
10. Please use the hand-sanitising units which are readily available throughout the event site in convenient locations.
11. Toilet facilities are provided on site and we ask that you queue in a socially distanced manner.
12. Access to the venue will be from 5.30pm but admittance will be on a staggered basis and you will be given a specific time of arrival which you should adhere to.
13. Guest artist Sorcha Richardson will perform at 7pm. James Vincent McMorrow will take the stage at approximately 8pm. The performance will finish at approximately 9.15pm.
15. At the end of the performance please follow the instructions of staff who will direct you out in a safe and orderly fashion.
